ARTISAN MACHINING BRINGS HOME BOLI AWARD FOR BEST MULTIMEDIA/INTERACTIVE PRESENTATION ON LONG ISLAND
BOHEMIA, NY (June 2, 2000) Artisan Machining, Inc. a manufacturer of precision-machined components and assemblies, was voted Best On Long Island at this years BOLI 27 awards ceremony for its CD-ROM presentation in the Multi-Media/Interactive Presentation category. The BOLI awards are presented annually by the Long Island Ad Club (LIAC).
Artisans CD-ROM is an extremely dynamic, interactive presentational vehicle that features an intense, computer-animated introduction and a video facilities tour. An intuitive windows-type navigation allows users to easily move between sections about the companys mission, culture, and variety of components and parts it manufactures. It also informs users about the industries Artisan serves and its value-added services.
I am extremely proud of this accolade, said John Caccavale, President of Artisan Machining. After all the scripting, photography, video taping and design months of hard work have finally come to fruition. My goal was simply to produce a CD that would get me more business...and it has. More than I ever expected. Winning a BOLI for the best multi-media presentation on Long Island is a major bonus and truly and honor.
The objective of the CD-ROM was to provide Artisan with a strategic tool that conveys the companys image as well as its product and service capabilities to current and potential customers. The company uses it as a direct mail piece, a bidding biography, for face-to-face presentations and as a corporate capabilities leave-behind.
BOLI (Best On Long Island) is an advertising competition that was first produced by the LIAC in 1973. This years competition, BOLI 27, attracted more than 1,100 entries submitted by more than 500 marketing and advertising firms representing their clients in 62 different categories. Progressive Marketing Group, Inc., a LIAC member organization based in Melville, NY, is the agency of record for Artisan Machining, Inc and designed and produced the Artisan CD-ROM.
