ARTISAN MACHINING BECOMES Y2K COMPLIANT
BOHEMIA, NY (September 10, 1999) Artisan Machining, Inc., a manufacturer of precision-machined components and assemblies, has announced today that their information systems, CAD CAM stations and computerized equipment have been audited to ensure Y2K compliancy.
After months of computerized checks and testing, software and hardware upgrades and vendor auditing, Artisan Machining is ready for operation into the 21st century.
"We realized that by the end of 1998, everyone started becoming concerned about year 2000 compliance. It was apparent that we had to ease our customer's minds and make our equipment compliant for January 1, 2000," said John Caccavale, President of Artisan Machining." "Fortunately, we made an absolute seamless transition to compliance...reassuring our customers that there will be no problems with our equipment next year."
